Foreign aid

I believe in helping people out when they are having a hard time and no food to eat and even medical aid. What burns me up is look how many countries our country has given millions of dollars to for more years then we know, ( They don't tell us everything ). The thing about it is we will never see one cent of that money repaid. How many years have you heard they couldn't balance the budget? Do you still wonder why?. All this money going out and NONE coming in is in my opinion not the way to do it. We give and support many small countries that are fighting a war amongst themselves. Somehow we pick a side and pour money into it and more food then you and I can get hold of, and all this is still going on today. The government tells us they gave some little country so many thousand pounds of so called surplus food. There are people in our country that go hungry each day and wonder where their next meal will come from. I know you've seen the ads on TV about feed the children in a no name country for so many dollars a month, well what about our children don't they count. Why don't we take care of our own first?. THIS THING OF GOING TO SOME OTHER COUNTRY AND ADOPTING A CHILD BURNS ME UP. Why not adopt one of our kids that needs a good home?. The homeless in this country is a sad thing, some at one time had a home and family and jobs, cars, and we'll never know the reason why now they are homeless. I think our government needs to wake up and look at our problems first. We need to feed our people, take care of AMERICA first and stop giving money away and then we might balance the budget. Something is wrong when schools have to cut programs because they don't have enough money. One school near me cut their sports program and music. Our governor wanted to put in a swimming pool at the governors mansion but that was voted down, the thing that burns me up is if it had passed the house the pool would have been paid for by we the tax payer just so he could get wet. That burns me up.

Before I started making my site and was surfing on the web I got the impression that the web masters were wanting us to feel sorry for them. By this I mean they let you know just how hard and long they worked on their site. Welllllllllllllll let me tell you they were not just blowing wind. Nobody sees the time a person spends putting a site together and just when you think you got most of the whole thing put together BAM the Java fails or you forgot to put a , in a certain place.

One thing that gets me is you use a size 14 text and when you publish the site it shows up 28 size text and the image you put on the right side is now on the left. ( my butts sore and tired gotta go to bed. )

O K Goatman's back. I think the last sentence above was a good excuse to get away from this little toy that we all like to play with. Home page building is very habit forming, not quite like cigarettes but almost. The sad part about this thing is that it's putting in some long hours of doing research out of books and looking all over the net for just the right gif, jpg, photos, buttons, bars, background color and a article you think somebody might be interested in. So you get all this stuff together and start putting the page together. Spending long hours putting this here and that there and text to fit around the photo. Now you got a big part of it done and you check it over and so far it looks fine, time to publish. For the part of your page you completed it takes 27 minutes to publish and you cross your fingers that it's going to turn out fine and no mistakes. Two minutes to go and you star to sweat, one more minute to go and you bite your finger because you have no fingernails to chew as you went thought them when you build the other page. Finely it's done and time to check things out, the first parts OK, scroll down a little and good night merle who put this on my page, looks like a two year old put this together. All that hard work and the hours with little or no sleep. Now comes the good part, there is nobody to get mad at, no human to scream at. A computer, yes a darn computer did this. When you publish a computer takes what you put on the page and replaces, (replaces is the key word) it with web format and that doesn't always work. Don't get me wrong because this whole thing is trial and error ( mostly error ) but we all just keep on trucking and rollin along. So when you go to a site and see something that doesn't work or a misspelled and the text is all over the page don't blame the web master because it's not entirely their fault. If you want to build a home page and surf around you can find hosts for 50, 60, or even 100 Mb for free, when you start don't be afraid to let it all hang out, go for it. Have plenty of coffee and someone to make more when you run out, cola, beer and cigs or cigars and somebody to go to the bathroom for you because you don't have time to go.

LAND

You have been looking for a little piece of land that you can call you own. You have been saving and doing without the of goodies and not eating out so as to save money. Lets say you found 10 acres and it is just what you wanted, trees, pond with fish, and even fenced all the way around it. The place had never been lived on so you got to do some clearing for your building site. You build a nice home, plant fruit trees, nice garden and deck out back over looking your pond and the land you cleared, leaving the big trees and removing the scrub brush.

You sit on your deck and are watch some deer eating in your back yard, oh isn't life grand. You hear some loud trucks out in front of your house, a guy is walking up your driveway with some papers in his hand, and you think he's looking for somebody and stopped to ask if you knew where they lived,WRONG he knows the place because he's been there before two years ago. There is a legal claim to the mineral rights on your place. The company knew there was a little oil on the land and also flourspar so they bought the mineral rights two years ago and now they have come to claim their rights. The oil is in the back of the land and you think thank god for that. But they need a road to get their oil rigs back there, so here coms the dozer and starts building a road to the back right in the area of your fruit trees. The flourspar crew starts digging a strip mine just past your pond and you wonder how the water is staying in.The flourspar crew hit a large vein and sent a guy to warn you they will start blasting at noon and to tie your dishes down. So now you have heavy trucks coming and going all hours of the night and dust from all this killing your fruit trees and your garden is dying and your life is a nightmare But the thing is you who did all the hard work to make your land look good can't do nothing about it. On the deed it said 10 acres more or less except mineral rights. You own the 10 acres 1 inch down and if they knew of oil in the front yard they could drill to get it. This is a free country and if someone wants to step on you they are free to do it, rights you say, what rights. You can come and go as you please but your not free, no matter which way you turn they have you. You pay school tax and don't even have kids in school, you pay road tax and they fix the roads when they want to not when they need it.

That burns me up, how about you?

VALENTINES DAY

It seems like only Yesterday that it was Christmas and now it's almost valentines day, how time fly's. So what do you get your honey for valentines day?, Flowers and candy are so old it has mold on it, cards are good but it's hard to say just what would be good for this day. I am sure you can think of one but this is a family site so we won't go there. Even that is every day and I am sure the love of your life can think of something she would like and be special to her. I think a nice place where you can have a good dinner with candle light and mabey a little dancing and after a walk in the park under the shinning moon. ( It's not safe to walk in a dark park anymore ) But the deal is your with the one you love and no kids ,no phone and no friends dropping in on you. I will have to ask my wife if this is a good idea or not. I think it is. The point being the two you are together and that's what is important. So HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.

NEIGHBORS

Several years ago the little woman and me bought a little spread in the country. We both worked our fannies off getting the place in shape. It was a pasture the former owner had rented out and these people put horses on. There was no power or water except ponds and you can't drink that as it was filled with limbs and leaves. So the neighbor down the road said if I would cut the trees down where the power co put the rite away and cut them up for firewood he would let the power co run lines to our place across his land. I knew some people that run a sawmill and they said yes they would be glad to cut the trees down for the logs, thus helping me and them. Now we're talking trees not some little sapling, most of these things two people holding hands couldn't put there arms around. This neighbor got someone to come cut the trees up into logs and hauled them off leaving the tops which was my job. The first guys came and seen the trees gone and said they were going to take the land owner to court and sue for labor charges. When they told me that I felt it was my duty to tell the guy what was going on and if it came to that I would pay any fines and court cost. Well as it turns out the sawmill guys never took him to court, and this guy is thinking we came and told him and his wife so we could get money from him. that just doesn't make any seance . The whole thing is this guy and his whole family won't speak or even wave when you pass in a car. They have a son and he's the only one who acts like a human. We only have two neighbors and the first one that lives in front of me would break his back to help you anyway he could, I believe the other would pass you up if you were laying in the road hurt. Oh well they can't see our house and we can't see theirs and we can't smell what's cooking at their house so we are happy on our little spread and we call it and with good reason NUTn FANCY FARM We have 9 pygmy goats 4 dogs and a leave me alone just feed me calico cat. We don't show our goats and we don't dehorn them for I believe if God wanted the goats without horns he would have made them that way. Our guys and dolls are all people goats and love attention and we make sure they have it. Have you hugged your goat today?

If you have a web site then this is for you. While viewing a clipart site I seen an ad for promoting your web site. The site was F FA net,com---so wanting to get my site out in the open I signed up for it. From what they said you post your URL to them and you get it posted to xxxxxxx number of ad sites all over the world. To do this you have to agree to receive a few e-mail messages from time to time. I agreed to this believing I would get a few e-mails a month and could delete them if I didn't like or want what they were selling. F F A net.com sent me a new e-mail wanting me to confirm my posting my URL to them and wanting my URL on the ad sites. I wanted my site noticed so I said yes and was thinking all those ad sites and all the people that viewed them I was sure to get a few hits from a few. Well I got a big surprise when I went to get my e-mail the next morning, I had over two hundred e-mails from every corner of the world wanting me to join their club selling all sort of things from phone lines to party throwing gig's. and most of them putting at the bottom if you didn't want to receive any more e-mails from them just click on a link. I found out when I did it reposted me and it sent me more mail. I have been blocking each one I get and it has helped as I only get a few new ones each day and the rest are blocked by my mail server. I have sent mail to the web master at F F A net.com many times wanting to be removed from the list and they are always returned. I should have remembered the old saying that if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is. I have learned from all this not to expect something for nothing. I know you have heard of SPAM well this is SPAM but it's legal because I signed up for it. Think about this these people don't care about you, me, or even their mothers it's the tele marketing game and would sell the dog if the kids would turn their heads. To me these people word the thing all around making you think it's all for you and the real truth is it's for them. So if you have a site and want to get it promoted please stay clear from F F A net.com. I don't know if the mail will ever stop but one day they will run out of places to send from and if my mail server doesn't limit the blocks then I'll be free from the legal spam. Please pass the word around because nobody needs to be spammed and it be legal and can't do nothing about it. Stay away from F F A net.com it's a legal spammmm.
