SOME PLACES I'VE VISITED AND OTHERS THAT I'D LIKE TO.
![]() ![]() VIET NAM A country I was invited to visit by uncle sam, and he didn't ask if I wanted to go. I was in nam in 1968 and 1969 and at that time wasn't the place to visit. It is very hot there and instead of turning cold it rains. I have seen it 120 degrees in the shade. I am sure there is some pretty places to see in nam , but I wasn't there sightseeing.
![]() ![]() AUSTRALIA The land down under is a country I have always wanted to visit and explore. From the photos and movies it makes me want to go there even more as it looks like a beautiful place. I like to fish and from what I've seen on shows and the movies fishing would be an adventure in fresh and salt water. Hunting is one of my hobbies and wild boar hunting is very good in Australia. This country has so much history and has so many places to visit you could spend a year and still not see it all. I would like to visit the area called the outback as the scenery is breath taking. I think being on horseback there would be nice and take in the sights. Well one day when I get rich I'll get to visit Australia.

![]() ![]() Shetland Islands U K
I received an e-mail from a gentleman ( John ) that lives in the Shetland Islands. John had been to my site and I answered him back and we have been e-mailing for a few months now. John had sent me some of the beautiful islands through photos he has taken in and around where he lives. The islands are abound with beautiful rolling hills and dotted with sheep. Shetland Islands is also home to the world famous Shetland Pony, during the Ice Age the pony was a good size but has evolved to a much smaller size and now stands to about 34" to 41" these are tough little guys and John say's they do better on sparse grass pasture than on a rich green grass pasture. The Islands are loaded with a rich history of the days of the Vikings that lived there and they only became part of Scotland in 1469. The Viking heritage lives on as many towns and villages have Viking names. The islands look like a nice peaceful place to live. This is a place I would like to see, being so peaceful and quite would be worth the price to get there. Thanks John
