3 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
½ cup walnuts chopped
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
3 ripe bananas mashed
2 cups flour
¼ tsp salt
Mix all ingredients together well;
Grease bottom of pan only.
Bake at 350* for 1 hour.
Turn upside down and cool.

1 cup sugar-divided
2 tsp cinnamon
3 cups flour
1 ½ tbs baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup shortening
1 egg lightly beaten
1 ¼ cups milk
Heat oven to 350*
Grease 9x5 loaf pan.
Combine walnuts and butter.
Add ¼ cup sugar and cinnamon mix well to coat walnuts.
Combine ¾ cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening.
Combine egg and milk, mix well.
Add to flour mixture, stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Fold in the walnut mixture.
Spoon into greased pan.
BAKE at 350* for 65-70 minutes then check center with toothpick.
Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove and cool on wire rack.

1 tsp salt
1 tsp butter
1 tsp sugar
1 cup milk
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350*
Mix together the dry ingredients and the butter. Add liquid and mix well.
Kneed for about 5 minutes.
Shape into a flattened ball, and place on a greased and floured baking sheet or in a round cake pan, as it gives a better shape.
Bake for 30 minutes.

3 tbs sugar
12 oz beer
1/4 cup butter melted
Add flour, sugar, and beer in a bowl. mix until batter becomes stiff.
Turn in to greased baking loaf pan.
Bake at 375* for about 50
Pour butter over the top and bake 10 minutes longer.
Remove from pan and cool on rack.

Mix all ingredients. The dough should be sticky and thick.
Pour in greased pan.
Top with 3 tbs melted butter.
Bake at 350 * for 45-50 minutes.

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and baking powder.
Add beer and mix until evenly moistened.
Level batter in oiled loaf pan.
Bake at 400* until loaf is browned and begins to pull from sides of pan.

Mix all ingredients.
Roll out dough.

1/3 cup buttermilk
Preheat oven to 435*
Grease baking sheet or cookie sheet.
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
Blend with pasty cutter or fingers.
Cut in butter until mixture looks like fine crumbs.
Pour in buttermilk and mix. When dough holds together turn onto floured surface and kneed lightly.
Roll or pat dough to thickness of ½ to ¾ inch, cut in 2 ½ inch rounds with floured biscuit cutter
Brush tops with buttermilk.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until tops are golden brown.
